Internet Services I have learn a couple weeks ago and today I want to make a conclusion about what I study and understand about Internet Services

 WWW

WWW is known as World Wide Web. Definition of WWW is a world wide collection of electronic document (web Page).

• Some web pages are static (fixed);other are dynamic (changing)
• Visitor to a static web page all see the same content
• NOT REAL TIME
• A websites is a collection of related web pages and associated items such as document and pictures,stored on a Web server

E-MAIL 

The transmission of messanges and files via a computer network

• Consist of simple text or can contain attachments,such as document,graphic,or audio / video clips
• Some Web sites such as MSN Hotmail and Yahoo! provide free e-mail services
• you can use e-mail program to create,send,receive,forward,store,and delete e-mail messanges.

WHAT IS E-MAIL ADDRESS

=> Combination of a user name and a domain name that identifies the user

INSTANT MESSANGING

EXAMPLE  of instant messanging

 Real time typed conversation with another connected user where you also can exchange photos,videos, and other content

#REAL TIME - mean that you and the people with whom you are conversing are online at the same time 

VoIP(Voice Over IP,Internet Protocol)

Conversation that takes place over the Internet using a telephone connected to a computer , mobile device or other device

• VoIP also called Internet telephone
• Enables user to speak to other user via Internet Connection
• To connect a calling party to one or more local or long distance called parties
• Example;Skype, WeChat ,Kakao Talk

MESSAGE BOARD

An online area in which user have written discussions about a particular subject and it also called as discussion forum

It is not REAL TIME

• To participate in a discussion , a user posts a messange , called an article to the newsgroupand other user in the newsgroup read and reply to the message
• Some discussion forum require that you enter a user name and password to participate in the discussion .

FTP(File Transfer Protocol)

Internet standard that permits file uploading and downloading with other computer on the Internet

• Uploading is the process of transferring files from your computer or mobile device to a server on the Internet.
• Downloading is the process of transferring files from a server on the Internet to your or mobile device
• REAL TIME
• Example;FileZilla, AbleFtp, SmartFTP
